Someone out there is now accusing me of being tiresome and anal-retentive. I deny it. I believe the road to hell is paved with adverbs, and I will shout it from the rooftops. To put it another way, they're like dandelions. If you have one on your lawn, it looks pretty and unique. If you fail to root it out, however, you find five the next day... fifty the day after that... and then, my brothers and sisters, your lawn is totally, completely and profligately covered with dandelions. By then you see them for the weeds they really are, but by then it's -- GASP!! -- too late.
He said snidely, sardonically, and apprehensively.
I've got three college degrees, which really isn't as impressive as it sounds. I am actively using none of them.
I work as an Emergency Medical Technician, where I drive really fast, going WEEOOOWEEOOWEEOO all the time. This is fun, but really, I just want to write.
Writing has been a valuable tool, lesson, teacher, and pastime, and I hope that blogging here will help me take it to the next level. It is my goal with this blog to engage in dialogue with other writers, published and unpublished, in order to support and learn from each other.
What you can find here are posts about my writing process, quotes from and thoughts on what I am currently reading, and various bits of my life that I feel are interesting enough to share.
Since I am currently focusing on work and my own projects, I will only be posting here rarely, and not reading nearly enough of other blogs as I'd like. Hopefully, work will mellow out soon and I can get back on the wagon!
